ASSESSMENT AND FUNDAMENTALS
“In a sentence: the Biometrics Fundamentals program has given me the means to accomplish my greatest athletic goals, and a new appreciation for the complexities of CrossFit.”
Logan C.
Our Assessment and Fundamentals (personal training) programs are going to look a lot different than group aerobics, group bodypump, bootcamp or any other group exercise class.
Yes, you will eventually have the option to graduate to Biometrics Strength and Conditioning group classes; however, before that we need to ensure that you are both competent in the movements and fit enough to safely join group classes. To do this, we use established physical benchmarks and you and your coach will monitor your fitness progress together.
Step 1: Free Consult
A Free 30 minute sit down with one of our professional coaches to learn a little more about what we do, what your goals are and whether or not those two things work together so that we are a good fit for you.
Step 2: 3 Session Private Assessment
With that in mind, you will start off by completing a 3 session private assessment with your professional coach to help us determine where your current fitness is at. These 3 sessions will give you a great chance to learn more about what we do and to get a feel for what it will be like to train at Biometrics as your training ramps up toward group class participation. Experienced athletes may move through these sessions without too much difficulty but they are an important opportunity for you and your coach to learn more about each other, discuss areas where you might like or require some focused attention and to get to know your way around Biometrics in general.
Step 3: Private Fundamentals Coaching
Depending on each individual assessment your coach will make a recommendation for the number of private Fundamentals training sessions he or she feels are required to safely and responsibly graduate you to our Hybrid Membership and the Group Class program. Less experienced athletes typically require somewhere between 6-12 Fundamentals sessions after their assessment based on your coaches assessment of you across ten different aspects of fitness. Our Professional Coach Development Program ensures you receive the best coaching available during your Fundamentals training and that this assessment is based on years of experience working with hundreds of other athletes and newcomers.
During your Fundamentals sessions you will become familiar with the 30-40 technical movement benchmarks. These movements include Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, gymnastics and rowing. You will also learn about mobility, injury prevention and nutrition, all critical to your long term fitness journey when you graduate to a Hybrid Membership and our Group Class.
Cost per Fundamentals session is $70. Multiple session bundles are available at a savings.
